We survived the week after the 4th of July Holiday!!!!!

Severe Weather Damage

It's just been storm damage after damage. So many people lost so much after the severe weather the Dayton area saw Wednesday.

Good news- the people I talked to are okay... We even talked to two men who survived getting struck by lightning and are already out of the hospital!

One power company, DP&L, says more than 48,500 customers lost power! Good news today- they should have it back before Friday morning

 

Mike in the Big Apple

Mike is loving New York City, running 8 miles a day in Central Park and hosting his morning show, filling in on various other shows & being a guest political analyst for various Shows!

 

TV Girls Night Out!

We need to do this more often!!!

The TV Girls of Dayton headed out to Salar! (yes, I went there AGAIN)!!!!

 

 

This time, they gave us the lounge area for us to chat & enjoy being girls :)

It's so nice to see how us WHIO (CBS) & WDTN (NBC) & CW girls can get together for a wonderful relaxing night of great company & delicious food! Next time, we're dragging out our ABC friends, too!

 

Salar! Dining out in Dayton!

My Dayton partner in crime & I wet to Salar, a Peruvian spot, for a random Tuesday night out! Yummy! Loved the sole filet!!!!!

We started out with the shrimp wontons with sweet & sour sauce and complimentary Pita & hummus! Then I had the sole filet with sautéed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes! Must try! Erica got her signature lamb chops with mushrooms, rosemary mashed potatoes & spinach! I tried it and loved it! Tonight didn't disappoint !
