Square One Salon Dayton Expands!

I go to Square One Salon in Dayton for hair, nails & facials!

I can't allow anyone else besides Mat to style my hair in Dayton! I am also a huge fan of Jamie for spa treatments! She is amazing!

I just found out, they are expanding their Dayton location is expanding! They just bought the British Team Room next door and are growing their salon! Pretty nice!

Memorial Day

True meaning of Memorial isn't about the unofficial start to summer & barbecue, although it IS a good time for family gatherings...

But let's take a moment to remind ourselves why we commemorate Memorial Day...

It's time to remember and honor out fallen heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice so we can safely spend summers at the pool and with our families.

Restaurant Review- SmashBurger

I'm a huge fan of burgers & I certainly have my favorite places!!! I love local burger joints, Voltzy's in Dayton OH, Jack Browns in Harrisonburg VA & Terry's Turf Club in Cincinnati OH...

My chain favorite is In & Out ... then Fuddruckers!!!!! Gotta love the fries & cheese!

Today, I tried Smash Burger for the first time & I loved all the choices in the "create your own" category! The sweet potato smashfries with the olive oil & rosemary is to die for!

Yuna's Epic #Fail

Some days, it's so bad you want to cry, then you laugh because you just can't make the stories up.

It started with TSA agent patting my head multiple times, AFTER a body scan at 5am.

It all went downhill as soon as I landed in Atlanta...

One day, I will share the story and we will all laugh. Larry David style

For now, at 9:06pm at Dayton airport, I'm just praying to get through the day

On the bright side,

I did get a good chocolate chip scone in Columbus with Starbucks Coffee, Yummy Taco Salad in Atlanta & maybe Dayton International Airport will have some popcorn left :)

My friend Apryl Polloli and I headed to Meadowlark in Kettering for tapas!

Thank goodness Apryl suggested this place because it was amazing & delicious!!!!!!

I had the tilapia! Highly recommend it!

Restaurant Review- Giovanni's in Fairborn

I love trying local places. On the recommendations from the superintendent of Fairborn City Schools and my photographer, I decided to give Giovanni's in Downtown Fairborn a try!

I was not disappointed! The salad was my favorite part with fresh cheese and house dressing that may have been packed with a thousand cloves of garlic! I love garlic!

It's a good place for pizza! I'd definitely head back :)

West Baden Hot Springs

I'm an East Coast Girl & Greenbrier Resort lover because I love all things spa :) but did find a place that will suffice while I live in Dayton!

It's a place called West Baden Hot Springs. It's a nice close getaway Tom Dayton :)

Feeling as "Europe" as you can in Dayton- Delish Cafe across the street from the Victoria Theatre has dining al fresco where you can for a teeny minute- feel you are somewhere else!

I had my first visit to the Ohio Statehouse to cover a story about Senate Bill 63- better known as the electronics bill... If passed, it would be a felony to steal a cell phone, iPad, laptop etc...

Girls night at the Greene called for lots of yummies & girl talk :). We sat out on a beautiful spring day!

Erica ordered lamb lollipops, McCall ordered a filet, Jenna ordered Mac & Cheese and I got shrimp & spring mix salad!

The best part of the night- the most perfect weather & amazing company :)

Lilly Pulitzer Opens in Cincinnati

My favorite store, Lilly Pulitzer is officially open at Kenwood in Cincinnati Ohio!

I remember first moving to Cincinnati and loving the Dillard's at Kenwood because of the amazing Lilly collection!

Today, there's a new store just two doors down from Dillard's! Win win for me!
