BENTONVILLE- Fall Harvest Pumpkin Patch

Fall Harvest Pumpkin Patch
Bentonville, Arkansas

The Fall Harvest Pumpkin Patch is located on the rainbow curve on 3505 South Walton Blvd in Bentonville.

The pumpkins are already picked and gathered for convenience. The variety and prices are great!

It's a simple pumpkin patch! Although not a farm and basically off the road, Cubby loved picking more pumpkins to our already vast collection!

The Pie Pumpkins were super cheap, less than $3

There are lots of wagons to choose from!

BAHAMAS- Atlantis Paradise Island Resort

Atlantis Resort
Paradise island, Bahamas

This isn't a pool! It's the beach!
There's a reason this island is called "Paradise Island"

Atlantis is one of my favorite places in the world!
It's a water paradise!

This was my third time at Atlantis- and a lot had changed!
The water was expanded to include this beautiful lazy river- "the Rapids to Relaxation"
Imagine choosing from various WATER ESCLATORS!
It's really amazing! You feel like you never have to grow up!

obviously, I had a LOT of fun at Atlantis' Aquaventure

If the lazy river is too much for you, there are several pools to choose from!
The "grottoes" is where I made my home

I love all the animals, too!
The sharks and the slides that take you through the shark tanks and marine life is simply amazing

The greenery and fine dining is not bad, either!

I highly recommend staying at Atlantis!
You can choose the One and Only or the Cove if you want to upgrade for a more "adult" like and modern stay! I personally love the Atlantis Royal Tower! For cost conscious vacations, try the Beach or Coral Towers!

RICHMOND- Historic Jefferson Hotel Christmas

Historic Jefferson Hotel
Richmond, Virginia

Try to find a more beautiful place in Richmond.

You can't. Except the Cathedral.

I also may be biased since I love the Jefferson and the Sacred Heart Cathedral and got married here :)

Irregardless ;) <-- like that?

But honestly... the beautifully ornate and classically decorate giant Christmas tree and the wrapped staircases that are already breathtaking!

and let's not forget about the food!
Jefferson is known for their delicious menu at their multiple restaurants! Food, being one of the reasons we choose the Jefferson to get married... we can't have a wedding without spoonbread- was what I told them

Their menus are always fresh and seasonal

Including this Frozen Gingerbread Man which was to die for... And you're right- it looks a bit like a crime scene... Disregard and just taste!

It'll do wonders!

OHIO- Geneva on the Lake

Geneva on the Lake
Lake Erie, Ohio

Beautiful? Isn't it?
This is the prettiest spot in Geneva on the Lake, which happens to be my parents in law's house

Don't expect this wherever you go though.
Aside from their house and The Lodge, which is beautiful- there isn't too much to see

Sorry!!!
Don't say I didn't warn ya!

VIRGINIA BEACH- Making it Great

Look at these pictures!
You'd never guess it's Virginia Beach

This is the Hilton right in the heart of Virginia Beach

Two of my best friends from Richmond and I had the luxury of staying here for a quick vacation and it was magnificent

Here's proof it's Virginia Beach

The hotel is fairly close to King Neptune on the Boardwalk

The Hilton is modern inside and it's fairly new
Compared to your other options on the Boardwalk, it's truly a gem! Trust me!

There are plenty of places to eat at the hotel and walking distance from your room! Keep in mind, Hilton is right where everything is happening, too! Concerts, bars, all walking distance

The food ? Delicious!

Here's the secret to the pool... it's small but amazing
Get up early, yes you lazy bums, and secure this little spot of heaven! It's the only secluded little corner that has the city, beach and pool view! Plus it's just these four cushy comfy beds cornered off!

TRUST ME!
You will not regret it!

I would go back just to have these four beds again!

SAVANNAH- Historic Downtown

Historic Downtown
Savannah, Georgia

What a beautiful fall day it was in Savannah!

We spent our time in Savannah touring the historic district and admiring all the beautiful trolleys for tours and ghost tours! They do have public trolleys that are free if you'd rather take that! We chose to walk everywhere because it was such a beautiful Fall October Day!

Cubby loved all the fountains that center the squares!

The beautiful trees and oak lined roads are absolutely stunning, as well as the old churches!

We loved all the squares and neighborhoods, particularly the famous Jones Street!

Mike found a home he wanted to buy about a block away. The pineapples were adorable!

City Market
Savannah, Georgia

Want AMAZING Pizza? Limitless Candy? People Watching?
City Market Savannah has you covered

From boutiques to local galleries, Savannah's City Market is for kids of all ages

There are bars and delicious places to eat!
Try Vinnie Van Go Go's!
You'll be paying in wait time for sure, but the pizza is worth it!

Afterwards, why not try a sample of delicious candy?
If samples are not good enough for you, you can buy cases and cases of delicious candies from chocolate covered apples to chocolate covered pretzels!
and if your sweet tooth takes you in to a more hard candy form- try this wall of candy!

What a fun night, even with the kiddos!
Savannah's City Market is kid friendly, even after dinner hours!
There are groups of people from all walks of life- from families, tourists, couples and even those who want to enjoy the nightlife!

CHARLESTON- Battery Row

Battery Row
Charleston, South Carolina

It's a little street on the water... with million dollar mansions

and cute little crabs in the sand!

We are talking about Battery Row in Downtown Charleston

A Southern Charm, for sure!

The houses are gorgeous... and colorful on Rainbow Row!

There are old southern style cobblestorne roads

The homes are perfectly manicured

Businesses are breathtaking!

With the water- right there- it's a great place to go for a morning run or walk your dog

But unless you are a member of the exclusive yacht clubs or live in one of the mansions, you definitely feel like a tourist (which we were!)

It was nice to see so many locals running and taking their dogs to a local park- which pretty much became a dog park!
