After an incredible chaotic week at work... it was fantastic to calm down, relax, shop, dine, chat & laugh with smart & beautiful friends!

Our adventure at The Greene include celebrating the birthdays of two women at the table next to us & watching a ferret take a stroll with its owners!

WHSV TV3 Wedding!

Since leaving WHSV TV3 three years ago, it seems as if the only time my Daybreak & WHSV family see other is during weddings!!!

This weekend, the most adorable couple- Julia & Josh became Mr. & Mrs. Knight!

Julia was stunning & the most adorable bride!!! And bring a meteorologist, Josh must have pulled some strings! The wether was perfect! Congrats to the lovely couple!!!!

It was so nice to see my WHSV TV3 Family again!!!!!! We also missed our "dad" - our former News Director Ed Reams- who kept in touch with us via twitter, fbook & Instagram!

Boy! Does he have an eye for talent or what?! Look how his hires are doing now! ;) he gave us a chance, and we're showing the world what we're made of! We're not even close to being done :)

BACON FEST at the Fraze Pavilion!

I attend the first annual Bacon Fest in Dayton and well, it was very popular!

You had to wait in a long line to get in, a long line to buy Bacon Bucks, then another long line (45 mins to 1:15) for food!

It was a fun experience!!! but not for the impatient or hungry!

I believe the entire Miami Valley may have been there :)

I loved the live music, gorgeous weather & overall concept! Plus, loved seeing my friends & coworkers!

Trying new places for TV Girls Night Out!

Our friends from the local NBC & CW met up with us WHIO TV Channel 7 Girls at The Greene to try the new Pies & Pints Restaurant!

It was delicious! We love the menu- creative & delicious!

As our waiter cautioned us, salad portions are huge! You likely do NOT need a large!!! Try small pizzas to share! Grape Pizza, Thai Pizza, White Pizza, Shrimp Mediterranean! Table full of Pizzas!

My Tuesday today consists of lots and lots of coffee, great co-workers to keep me awake during Daybreak and two court cases to cover for the Noon Show.

Gabby & I had breaking and developing news to anchor all throughout Daybreak, about a months worth of news in one newscast!

Then, Dee and I headed to court for two sentencings, including a murderer who will spend his entire life in prison without the possibility of parole for stabbing a Miamisburg Mentally Challenged woman and dragging her body to the railroad tracks, to be run over several times.

Blast from the Past & Happening so Fast!

I'm going to be an aunt!!!!

The past two years, I have been bridesmaids at my best friends' weddings (still more to come) and I'm proud to say- I am going to be an aunt!

My best friend, Melissa, is the first to get pregnant and she's expecting her little bundle of joy in Feb!!!!!

Summer is almost over & School starts soon for many students, including our WHIO TV Interns!

This summer, we had great interns, including Kaitie Espeleta from Miami University! I had the pleasure of working with Kaitie about twice a week! She has great news judgement with hard work ethic and was one of only three interns (out of dozens) to volunteer on a hot sticky disgusting day to help with river cleanup! Some people just stand out & I can't wait to see Kaitie make it big one day!!!!!

Shopcation in Columbus!

Ten hour Shopping Day?!

Yes! That's why it's called a shopcation! So how do you shop for ten hours?!

First, you have to choose a fabulous location- in this case, we made the commitment to drive 1.15 hours to Columbus' Easton Town Center! Plus, it was a gorgeous day which added to the beauty of Easton!

Second, a girlfriend who has great taste & loves shopping as much as you do!

Third, lots of coffee & yummy breaks!!!!! A Jenni's Ice Cream break & Late Lunch at Bon Vie! Jenni's has amazing flavors~! We tried so many including Cherry Lambic, Fresh Pear, etc! I ended up getting the Lemon Bluberry and Dark Coffee Combination! We also love the fact they had cucumber water! mmm!

BEHIND THE SCENES- Saturday Sunshine!

We're just waiting for the Sunshine to join us!!!!! This is the third Saturday in a row where it rained during Daybreak on WHIO TV!

We still had fun behind the scenes and get a chance to show our newest Breaking News Team Multi-Media Journalist, Clint Davis, the ropes of News Center 7 Saturday!

Night at the Museum, Foodie Style!

This is how you do a Night at The Museum!

We went to the Miami Valley Restaurant Week Sneak Preview Event at the Gorgeous Dayton Art Institute!

It was a delicious way to spend a night at the museum!!!!! We enjoyed all the samples from the restaurants participating in Restaurant Week including The Dock, Salar, Crazy Mango, Fesco, Taste... Just too many to name!

We had a great time meeting so many viewers!!!! Plus, the architect for our news WHIO TV Studios & the people from Morgan Services who played a huge role in throwing the event!

Then- Erica and I got do to a little touring after hours of the museum! My fellow Dayton Daily News Dining Diva Amelia kept working!

Standing Desks/Cubicles

More and more of my co-workers are getting these standing desks! They are a great idea, but I'm thinking they need to add a treadmill for more fun! :)

Crime & Courts reporter for the Dayton Daily News is leaving for Detroit... which meant a "Better Together" Goodbye party! It was a good mix of TV & Newspaper & Lots and Lots of Food!

Working Daybreak for me requires me waking up at 1am at the latest :) ill get to work around 2am or 2:30am just to wake up and get myself together!
