Maid-Rite- destination burgers!

BEHIND THE SCENES

Often, our days are long and unahppy- covering gruesome double murders, infant batteries, bloody home invasions & arrests... We talk to people when they are at their worst...

Sometimes... we need a break... and today... we had 15 minutes to stop by local Greenville legend, Maid-Rite for delicious burgers to add a little happiness!

I pretended to touch the infamous gum wall...

My Photographer Chuck Hamlin & I ordered delicious Cheese-rites which uplifted our spirits!

I LOVE supporting local restaurants!

ok- I LOVE EATING!
What's wrong with that?

New Pope, Pope Francis I

NEW POPE
#266

HISTORY IS MADE

CONGRATULATIONS, POPE FRANCIS I

Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio of Argentina is the first non-European to be elected Pope.
He is also the first Jesuit to become pope.

He is known as a humble man, with conservative and orthodox leanings.

Congratulations, Pope Francis I!

The more I read about him, the more I like him!
I hear Pope Francis is a "very humble man" who likes to ride the public bus rather than getting driven around in a limo! He likes to cook his own meals and is known to be very compassionate.

What I liked most... is how Pope Francis asked the crowd at the Vatican to bless him...
and he bowed his head to the people.

and his "hi" to the world as the new Pontiff...
hilarious and so touching to see!

Addams Family, the Musical

Addams Family, the Musical
Schuster Center
Dayton, OH

We had a great time at the Schuster Center for the Broadway Tour of "The Addams Family!"

Amber, Jenna, Amy & I all loved the humor & entertainment! I was most impressed by Wednesday's acting & singing!

What's really ironic, few days after watching The Addams Family in Dayton, I headed to Dallas- to find THE Addams Family Bench at my husband's boss' movie studios! Ha!

Bon Appetit! Coco's Bistro Dayton

A few of us went to Coco's Bistro in Dayton to try out the restaurant!

I was pleasantly surprised by the food & ambience! My husband loved his Manhattan, too!

I wish there was a larger selection in their menu, but I applaud their efforts to create unique dishes!

Recommendation- make reservations! The place is hoppin'!
